- Develop an individual program for each blind person to provide him / her the required care, qualification or rehabilitation.
- Transportations were and still a crucial need for the blind persons namely employees, university students and especially girls. Our main challenge was to provide free transportation.
- Residence: the institution insures residence for blind persons of both genders coming to the institution from remote areas to seek education or vocational training, as well as persons coming from Arab countries seeking to have vocational training or attend courses in technology.
- Employment: the institution endeavors to insure employment for the blind in all public and private institutions, administration or companies.
- Health care: it covers the expenses of the surgeries for those who can retrieve their eyesight, and contact the health care providers such as the physicians, pharmacists and hospitals to reduce the hospitalization cost, in case providing free treatment and hospitalization is not possible. Moreover, L. I. B Contacts the concerned authorities to get health cards for the blind to secure them free medical treatment. It is worth mentioning here that until 1995 L. I. B was providing medical coverage and drugs to the blind persons and their dependents such as the wife and the minor children.
- Psychological care: It includes organizing awareness meetings and lectures in order to prevent psychological crises of all kinds; and assisting by contacting specialists to obtain treatment of psychological pathologies.
- Care for the elderly: L. I. B secures medical cards for the elderly, provides them with financial support, rations and visits them periodically to comfort and to check their needs; noting that the Institution cares of dozens of elderly blind people.
